Jörg Michaelis

Jörg Michaelis, lawyer, was born in Bremen in 1960.

He studied law in Marburg and in Frankfurt am Main. During his time as a trainee lawyer he worked in Hanau and Frankfurt am Main.

In 1992 he was admitted to the bar. Since then, he has acted as a lawyer, focusing on labour and sales law.

In the field of labour law he specialises in the interests of employers and executives. The labour law consulting is focused on the design of employment contracts, the negotiation of company agreements as well as the development of strategies for avoiding judicial proceedings.

In the field of sales law, Jörg Michaelis focuses on the legal design of distribution systems and commercial contracts including the legal composition and implementation of general terms and conditions.

Since 2003, Jörg Michaelis has been authorised to use the title “specialist lawyer for labour law”.

Until June 2004 he was member of the law firm Müller Hofstede, and from 2004 to 2010 he was partner in the law firm Steinacker, Moses und Kollegen. He joined our law firm in 2010.

Since 1992 he is has been a member of the bar association of Frankfurt am Main.
